The shape of the space
Floor space is rented by how many sides open onto the aisles: in-line for one open face, corner for two, peninsula for three, island for four.
That changes what there is to build. The more open faces, the fewer partitions to put up, but every face becomes visible and has to be finished. An island also needs storage built into it, because there is no back wall to hide it behind.
What the organiser already supplies
Shows offer two formulas. A bare stand is the floor space alone: everything is left to build. An equipped stand arrives with a shell, partitions, carpet and a basic name board, booked when you register.
Our pricing covers what is missing. On a bare stand it starts from nothing. On an equipped stand it concentrates on the counter, the vitrines and the cladding, which is what separates you from your neighbours.
Demountable or not
A stand meant to be dismantled, transported and put back up needs reversible joints, hardware chosen for it, and clear marking of every element. That costs more to build once.
It costs less at every show after that. If the stand is used once, the spend is not worth it; if it runs through a season, it is recovered quickly.
Transport and the assembly window
The organiser fixes assembly and dismantling hours, and the venue has its own access rules: loading bays, goods lifts, how you move through the halls.
A stand delivered in pre-assembled sections goes up fast. A stand put together piece by piece on the floor takes far longer, sometimes overnight. That time is paid for.
The show date does not move
A shop opening can slip by a week without much harm. A trade show cannot. The schedule is built backwards from the opening date, and that is what decides how much room the workshop has.
A project started late is not recovered in time, it is recovered in resources. It is the factor an exhibitor has the most control over, and the earliest.
How we price a stand
We start from the plan of the space, the show's technical rules and what your package already includes. The quote is itemised and approved before anything starts, so no line appears once fabrication is under way.
